US: thousands turn up for first Women's March since Roe v Wade overturned – video

Thousands of people across the US took to the streets on the 50th anniversary of Roe v Wade, the supreme court decision that made abortion a constitutional right in 1973, to protest against the decision last year to strike it down. Protesters gathered at more that 200 Women's March events in 46 states.The vice-president, Kamala Harris, spoke at an event commemorating the landmark ruling, at which she said abortion rights across the US were under threat.
