Ontario needs 1.5 million new homes. But the province faces a generational labour shortage

The Ontario government wants to build 1.5 million homes over the next decade, but says it will need 100,000 more workers to carry that out. Meanwhile, the construction industry is short tens of thousands of workers and it's costing the provincial economy $13 billion a year.
